One Hour Mommy Dates
On Monday, Eric came up with a great idea. Each child got a one hour date with Mom. We put each name in a bowl and drew them out. Emma was chosen first. She chose to go downtown to Funfinity toy store and to go to SOS drug store to fill a bag with $1 of "penny" candy. We also browsed some of the other shops downtown. Jon-Jon was next and we went to McDonald's for a Happy Meal and some time in the playland. Braden wanted to go to the mall to browse the bookstore, the shoe store and some of the game shops. He got a small treat at Yummies custard stand. Adam decided that he too wanted a Happy Meal, so back to McDonald's we went. It was a lot of fun and everyone seemed to have a good time.

So fun! We've been trying to do dates around here, but they are definitely hit and miss. You're making me think that I need to get with it again.
That's a great idea. Sounds like a lot of fun! I love having mommy dates -- but I have never dated all of them in one day.
