Most exciting day

Today is the most exciting day, because we submitted the Elementary school yearbook today. This project has occupied my time, thoughts and energy since the beginning of school. However, for the month of March, Eric and I logged an amazing 70 hours of work on it. *sigh*

I hope it turns out great.

The Scream

This is the reason I don't get to blog much anymore. I don't know if I'll survive him.

Isn't it spring yet?

Why do we have to have more than 5 inches of snow tonight? Why, WHy, WHY?!?

My daffodils and tulips were just starting to bud. I will be really angry if they all die.

Return of the blonde bimbo wig

A couple of years ago, my sister took pictures of everyone with what we call the Blonde Bimbo wig. When my sister came last weekend, we had to do another round when her daughter got a blonde wig for her birthday.

Braden and Basketball

Braden's team won the championship in their basketball league (5th and 6th grades). They got to play against the first place team in the other league. Even though Braden's team went undefeated the entire season, when we walked into the gym we knew that we would be killed. The other team was HUGE!



This is the guy Braden got to guard. Braden is averaged sized for a kid his age, but this was amazing.

I'm Tired

I was at P/T Conferences yesterday, when I received a page to go to the office. Rachel was on the phone that Adam had gotten hurt. So I rushed home so that we could go to the ER where Adam got 8 stitches in his forehead.

During the middle of last night, both Braden and Jon woke up with fevers so Eric went to Wal-Mart at 2 AM since we were out of pain medication.

Today I got to take Adam back to the ER because his stitches came loose. Four of the stitches had come out, so the doctor pulled the rest tight again, and then ster-stripped the rest of the wound close. *sigh* There goes another 3 hours of my time sitting in ER because now he's not an emergency, and our regular doctor won't take it because it was a mistake of the ER. *sigh*

The good news is that Braden and Jon are fever-less this afternoon.

I just downloaded my cell phone and found some great stuff I've been meaning to blog about, so here goes.


Jon was upstairs in the bathroom and I asked him what he was doing. He said "going potty." I ran upstairs to get this picture of him on the potty.

And just so Emma doesn't feel left out, her news is that she got a part in the her school musical. For those of you acquainted with Eric's childhood, the irony of her winning a part in "The Jungle Book" should amuse you.
